Styled Hamilton Studio for Photoshoots

A light-filled, styled studio space available for hire in central Hamilton. Set on the second floor, the studio includes a variety of furniture, soft furnishings and ready-to-shoot setups – no need to bring your own props or spend time styling.

With multiple shooting areas including a bed setup, lounge zones, dining table, desk space and backdrops, the space works well for lifestyle, portrait, branding and newborn shoots, small content days and workshops.

We also have a movable wall on wheels (approx. 3.8m long), double-sided: one clean white, and the other a soft, creamy white-wash finish. Paper rolls can be suspended from the bar at the top so you can swap in your preferred backdrop colour.

The movable wall can be used for:
• Partitioning the studio into different shooting zones
• Creating a private changing area for clients
• Serving as a neutral or textured backdrop for photos

Studio Hire Rates (excl. GST)

• 1 hour – $115 + GST
• 2 hours – $230 + GST
• 3 hours – $300 + GST
• Half day (up to 5 hours) – $450 + GST
• Full day (up to 8 hours) – $700 + GST

All studio booking requests, including payment in full, must be received no less than 72 hours prior to the booking date.

Facilities:
• Toilets are available on each floor.
• Kitchenettes are available on levels 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Catering:
Corporate catering is available from The Wooden Spoon Café (Ground Floor) by arrangement.

Natural Light

The light changes throughout the day:

• Morning: the bed and grey couch area gets soft, directional light.
• Afternoon: the longer side of the studio brightens, giving full, even lighting.

Sundays & After-Hours

• Sundays: Open by request only. Sunday bookings must be booked and paid for by the Wednesday prior, and a building key collected in advance. Additional surcharges may apply.
