Kauri Springs Lodge | Waiheke Garden Venue

Set in a lush subtropical garden in the heart of Waiheke Island, Kauri Springs Lodge is a unique venue with plenty of rustic charm. The Lodge is an accommodation and event space that’s perfect for corporate events, weddings, retreats or as an idyllic holiday residence for family and friends.

We offer a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces for functions, a soundproof dance area with an in-built sound system, on-site catering, bar staff and security, and complete venue set-up including furniture, linen and party wares to make any function run with ease and style. The Lodge is an idyllic venue for functions up to 80 guests, and private group accommodation for up to 30 people. 

The venue comprises four private homes - the Lodge House, Guest House, Tree House and Nikau Cottage - that accommodate up to 30 guests over in 13 bedrooms. Each house is equipped lounge and kitchen, allowing guests to be completely self-contained.

Guests will enjoy exclusive use of the Lodge facilities as well as its outdoor features. A network of prettily planted paths winds its way through the property’s beautifully landscaped gardens that also includes a Balinese-style saltwater spa pool.

Entertaining areas include an outdoor garden bar, the large Atrium complete with stone fireplace and pizza oven, the stylish Solarium with its beautiful garden views, and a courtyard space. Designed with flexibility in mind, these spaces can be transformed to suit large or more intimate events. The private setting provides a relaxed atmosphere for an unforgettable gathering.

We offer in-house catering by some of Waiheke’s caterers so guests enjoy a quality culinary experience during their stay. For a more casual affair, a barbecue is the perfect choice. Our kitchen is fully equipped, should you choose to use your own caterer or self-cater. As a licensed BYO venue, guests can bring their own beverages, and best of all, we do not charge corkage.

As a hire business, we can supply you with the following items for your event:

— Built-in projector with 2.6sqm drop-down screen
— House stereo system with 14 speakers with multi-zone functionality
— Portable wireless microphone feeding to large self-powered speakers with iPod inputs
— Late-model espresso machine, supplied with Allpress coffee beans
— Full bar hire and bar staff with two large commercial fridges for your beverage storage
— Event furniture including tables and chairs that can be used for an indoor or outdoor function, and a selection of outdoor lounge suites
— Full dining set-up including table settings of glassware, crockery, cutlery, linen (tablecloths and napkins) and water jugs
— Party wares especially for (but not limited to) our wedding clients including a welcoming easel, champagne bar table and buckets, outdoor umbrellas, a ceremony signing table, and ceremony chairs
