Built in 1862 Highwic is one of New Zealand’s finest Carpenter Gothic Mansions and provides a wonderful heritage setting for events, meetings and functions. Highwic can comfortably accommodate meetings, presentations, workshops and conferences for groups up to 40 people. Highwic’s heritage spaces will give your next corporate event or meeting warmth and character.

The Drawing Room is an elegant space with kauri wood panelling ideal for conferences and formal meetings. The historic Billiard House, separate to the main building, provides a private and rustic backdrop for corporate events and meetings. Both spaces can accommodate 40 guests lecture style, or seated at tables.

Centrally located in the heart of Newmarket, Highwic is easily accessible via the motorway, and has onsite parking for up to 20 cars. We also have access to the Westfield carpark, linked to the property via a short walkway so parking is not a problem. Public transport is readily accessible with the Link Bus or Newmarket Train Station only 5 minutes' walk away.

Tea and coffee, tables, chairs, crockery, whiteboards, projector and screen area all available by prior arrangement.

Highwic is open to view Wednesday through Sunday, 10.30am to 4.30pm or by appointment.
