Welcome to Edisons, a truly exceptional venue, nestled within the historic walls of the old iconic Whangamata Cinema.

Located within the charming Cinema Lane, Edisons stands as a bespoke venue perfect for conferences, theatre, workshops, product launches and presentations.

Capacity:
- 100 seated
- 170 for standing/cocktail style event

Standard function hire:
Monday - Wednesday event: $600 + GST
Thursday or Sunday event: $1000 + GST
Friday or Saturday event: $1500 + GST

Inclusions:
- Caterers pop up kitchen with oven, prep benches, and 3 phase power
- Sound system for PA and background music
- Cleaning post event
- Glassware
- Hot water urn

Optional extras:
- Folding tari chairs (walnut): $5 + GST each
- Tables: $30 + GST each
- Projector: $50 + GST
- Stage hire: $50 + GST


We are able to provide recommendations for catering, suited to your event.
The venue holds an on licence, different beverage options are available.

The venue is available 7 days a week and closes at 12am.
