The Bishop Selwyn Chapel, the newest venue at Holy Trinity Cathedral, can be booked for ‘High-end Events’ including:
- Conferences
- Workshops
- Cocktail functions
- Dinners and special catered events
- Product launches
- Chamber music concerts and more.

This remarkable space offers glass walls with views through mature oak trees to One Tree Hill, gilded curved ceiling, acoustic panelling, full sliding doors to a large wrap-around terrace providing indoor-outdoor flow to the garden, and audio/visual suite.

The Chapel is a fully flexible space which can be entirely cleared of furniture, or offer seating if required. Event catering is available in the Chapel through our nominated caterer. Please note there is no dance area in the Chapel.

The Chapel has been designed by Fearon Hay Architects and is a winner of an NZIA Public Architecture Award (NZIA Auckland Awards 2017).

PRICING
Full day rate (12 hour hire) is $2180 +GST plus $150 +GST to remove and reset furniture
Half day rate is $1,000+GST plus $150 +GST to remove and reset furniture

Kitchen Facilities are located in the Bishop Monteith Visitors’ Centre next to the entrance into the Cathedral Nave. The Visitors’ Centre provides a food preparation/food serve kitchen space with an oven, dish/glass sterilizer, trestle tables and chairs. While we don’t offer on-site catering services, we can refer you to one of our preferred caterers who are well used to working within this venue.
