White Elephant Trust’s mission is to provide a diverse range of positive youth development opportunities for youth of Ōtautahi - we do this by facilitating loads of programmes and events in our space on Tuam Street.



Hire our space and help us provide awesome opportunities for young people!



Affordable venue, suitable for large & small groups, great facilities & good community vibes. 



Price:

Standard hire from - $200 per day

Special rate for Not for Profits - $120 per day 





Available hire times: 

9am -3pm weekdays.

(If your potential hire is outside of these times do let us know and we'll see what we can do).





Facilities: 

4x toilets including one disabled toilet

Kitchen includes a jug, hot water urn, microwave, dishwasher, storage & sink (cold water only)

A selection of cutlery, plates and mugs

Lighting desk (on request as part of setup A and B hire only)

Microphone and speaker (on request)

Disabled access is available on Phillips Street

Free parking





Setups:

When you hire the space from us you can select one of the three audio / visual set ups. Flick us an email if you after something a bit different!



Setup A

Ideal for large scale events - up to 108 people. Think seminar, workshop, AGM, community meeting and networking events.



Setup B

Ideal for medium size events - up to 70 people. Think seminar, workshop, AGM, community meeting and networking events.



Setup C

Ideal for small scale events - up to 48 people. Think focus group, small workshop, training course and board meetings.
