Lion Foundation Centre

This first-class 2400m² event space houses three sports courts and an impressive recessed stage. It is specifically designed to cater for large events and can hold up to 4600 guests during a concert performance or up to 1200 delegates for gala dinners.

Carpet tiling and production-quality drapes are available to transform this venue into a professional setting suitable for conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners and awards. Additional drapes are also available to divide the room into two or three, often used to separate conferencing, catering and trade displays.

The Lion Foundation Centre features three full-size indoor courts with state-of-the-art timber sprung floors and ample grandstand seating. The main centre court has a lighting capacity of 1100 lux and meets the brightness requirements for television broadcasting. Quality climate control technology is installed to keep both athletes and spectators cool during even the most intense matches.

The auditorium offers a recessed stage, fixed and retractable seating, changing rooms, technical infrastructure and media facilities. Engineered acoustic treatment means indoor events can be held without breaching noise restrictions and any sound coming from the adjacent speedway track outdoors cannot be heard inside. This makes it an excellent venue for concerts and stage performances with a large audience.
