The Aaiotanga Community Space provides a rare character option for functions in Auckland City Centre.
Very affordably priced, we offer a warm and welcoming environment that is particularly handy for City Centre workers and apartment dwellers who might be looking to host an event.
It comfortably holds 55 people seated on padded chairs and sofa settings
Our venue is a large lounge type environment with plenty of clear space to set up chairs or tables. It is perfect for meetings, workshops, classes, presentations, yoga, community groups, kids classes, rehearsals, acoustic music performances - and much more.
It is also used for celebrations, fundraisers and could even be used as intimate wedding venue.
We have 2 toilets and a kitchenette located in the foyer adjacent to the venue. Please note, this is a heritage building so disability access is limited and needs to be discussed prior with the venue hosts.

The hire fee includes:
- WiFi and Power
- Smart 86 inch TV
-Whiteboard
- 6 Tables plus smaller tables
- 40 Padded Chairs
- Couches & arm chairs
-Cups, Glasses and Dinner Plates
- Bluetooth Speaker (a larger sound system can be accessed by arrangement)
- Use of the kitchenette
Catering and Alcohol
-you are welcome to self-cater or bring in external caterers but allow enough time to clean up afterwards and leave the space as you found it.
-Alcohol is allowed for a private group but if the venue is open to the public or Alcohol is being sold a license will be required.
The Centre is available for bookings between 6am-10pm, 7 days
