Located slightly away from the main hub of Courtenay Place, The Cavern Club just might be Wellington’s best kept secret.



Inspired by the original in Liverpool where the Beatles made their name, this is a venue dedicated to songs of bygone eras and good ol fashioned rock n roll! Take a ride down memory lane, and groove to the tunes of the 60′s and 70′s, while treating your taste buds to a cocktail from our delicious menu.



Desinged to be a tribute to the music stars of yesteryear, the space is filled with memorabilia.  The walls are adorned with a visual feast of records, posters, and authentic guitars, as well as two plasma screens showing music videos of the era, ensuring patrons are never bored as they enjoy the plush leather couches and singalong party atmosphere!



Cavern Club is the perfect venue for your next function, small enough to feel intimate, but large enough to accommodate up to 100 people comfortably.



We are constantly hosting 21sts, 30ths, 40ths, engagement parties, work dos, and have even hosted a rugby team function!



You can bring in your own food, play your own music or simply have us take care of everything!



We are also able to put up a photo slideshow on our tv screens throughout the event.
