Playhouse Theatre: multi-purpose event space

The Academy is available for hire for a full range of arts events, conferences and social functions.

We have five main spaces available, all charged at a half day or full day rate.

The Playhouse Theatre is a flexible, multi-use venue and is ideal for a wide range of events. Accommodating dinners, weddings, lectures, productions and more, the Playhouse can seat 183 tiered seats (or up to 345 with additional flat floor seating), 180 seats at round tables or 240 seats in banquet style.

Included in the Venue Hire:
-Tables and chairs
-Basic sound, lighting and AV including microphones, projector & screen etc.
-Staging
-Staff for event set up and operation
-Use of greenrooms and dressing rooms (on request)
