The Caffeine Laboratory is a cosy two-story café located on New Regent Street; a truly unique location surrounded by beautiful pastel colours with Spanish Mission architecture. Our venue on New Regent Street offers a truly one of a kind historic and stylish surrounding for a variety of events from business meetings and long lunches and also get togethers through to larger parties and celebratory events of 60 people for Birthdays, Christmas and weddings.

Not only is our venue beautiful, but our personalised offerings are as well. We offer the ability to host events inside and outside our venue on New Regent Street so you can fully enjoy our beautiful surroundings and unique ambiance.

We have a long list of contacts to help stamp your mark on the event. This could be from placing your own decor to creating your own themes, nothing is out of reach with us.

We offer access to The Caffeine Laboratory’s main meal menu and event meal packages for breakfast, lunch, dinner and celebratory parties from small and casual sharing plates, canapes, grazing tables and much more. Our menu is made for sharing and focused around seasonal produce and the freshest locally produced food in Christchurch. And of course, we have our fully stocked range of craft and premium beers, fine wine, and curated cocktails for your disposal. If you have any special request or requirements, we’re happy to help customise your meal to fit your requirements.
