Built in 1883, the former Bonded Warehouse offers a unique, historic venue for weddings, meetings and social occasions in a relaxed atmosphere.

No.1 The Strand is an ideal location for any event. Our Rustic bar is warm and cozy and perfect for entertaining.

Our private courtyard area lends itself to casual events with an indoor/outdoor fire, while the history-rich building and conservatory room allows space for business functions or meetings.

For audio presentations, No.1 The Strand has it covered with three television screens available for DVD coverage, a live video relay system and PA system on-site.

We work with four caterers to allow you to choose a caterer who suits your style of food and budget.  All of our caterers come highly recommended.

And finding a carpark is easy, with parking conveniently located at the front of the building.
