When only the best will do for your next function, think of The Hunting Lodge. Our 80-acre estate is located just 35mins drive from the CBD in the heart of Auckland's wine country.
The largest venue on site, The Barn has everything covered to ensure a beautiful, comfortable and smooth sailing day. Custom-built with weddings and big events in mind, our stunning new cedar-wood Barn can accommodate up to 250 people. Its beautifully designed interior has a lofty warmth with striking interchangeable pendant lights hanging from the vaulted ceiling, and white-washed walls that provide a blank canvas easily transformed to suit any occasion. The outdoor courtyard is fitted with a retractable roof and impressive open fireplace, set overlooking the vines Westward to catch the sunset and toast the day's end.
With our 1970's vintage refitted caravan at your service (included complimentary for 2017/2018 season), “Jerry” will conveniently ensure your guests’ thirst is well looked after.
The Hunting Lodge homestead oozes historic charm. The iconic building has an abundance of natural light, with period finishings and floor to ceiling windows that over look the vineyards and quaint English style garden. Equipped with a commercial kitchen, the opportunities are endless.
For a cosier and more intimate space, opt for our funky new Cellar Door with its dark timber floors, large steels doors and stunning pendant lighting that creates a moody ambience. With an adjoining Boardroom and Winemaker's Tasting bench, it provides a real window into the workings of the winery and where all the magic takes place.
We work with some of Auckland's finest and most well-respected caterers. You can be sure your guests will be well fed and pleased with their meals, no matter their requirements. We have also teamed up with the talented Wonder Events to provide a number of beautiful styling options, should you require a helping hand in theming and dressing the spaces available.
Our spaces are available to hire Monday - Sunday, with prices starting from $300. The Hunting Lodge can provide you with the ultimate option for any private function, corporate event, wedding, media or brand launch, board meeting, and much, much more.
