Enchanting, Heritage Event Venue - Alberton

Alberton is one of Auckland's finest historic houses. Renowned in the 19th century for its balls, garden parties and musical soirées, it is an 1863, timber mansion with beatiful, Indian influenced verandahs and turrets, a heritage garden and lawn area.

The house provides an intimate and picturesque setting for celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, bridal & baby showers, weddings) . A wide range of functions can be hosted from cocktail style services, to formal dining in the ballroom, to garden parties with music and drinks on the verandah.

A private High Tea served from the house's collection vintage fine china tea cups and antique silverware is the most popular style event and makes for a memorable occasion.  We can assist in recommending caterers, in advising on the set up and have everything you’ll need for a splendid tea party down to the finest details!

We are flexible in allowing hirers to choose their own caterers or self-cater and to decorate the house and grounds in order to personalise their events.

Alberton is fifteen minutes from downtown Auckland and is well connected with transport links.
