At Take Up Space, we have two meeting spaces available and our larger space is available to hire and can fit up to 100 people standing.

With the concrete floors, white walls and high-stud dark beams, the space makes a perfect venue for intimate weddings, workshops, birthdays, corporate functions, Christmas functions and presentations.

There is a small stage at the front of the space, full kitchen use, limited parking spots, wheelchair accessible bathrooms and more!

Weekend Celebration Rate — $1500
Birthdays, engagements, baby showers, private events
When: Sat or Sun, 9am–11pm
Includes:
- Full venue hire
- Kitchen access (BYO-friendly)
- Cleaning fee included
- WiFi + parking (up to 7 spaces)
- 10% Liquorland Ellerslie discount*
- $500 Bond required
- Optional Event Support - additional cost

Full-Day Weekday — $1700
For workshops, team off-sites, hosted sessions
When: Weekdays (Mon–Fri), 8am–4pm
Includes:
- Full venue hire incl breakout rooms (main space + Wāhi Rua + Wāhi Tahi)
- Barista coffee, premium tea, snack box
- Kitchen access (BYO or catering available)
- WiFi, printer/scanner, whiteboard, SmartTV
- On-Site Host Support included
- Up to 7 car parks

*Take Up Space is an unlicensed venue. If you choose to serve alcohol, the event host is fully responsible for ensuring safe and responsible consumption in accordance with New Zealand law.
