The Hauraki Gulf and surrounds of Kawau Island is a highly renowned fishing area and our local charter boats can pick you up and drop you back to the lodge's private jetty, as well as provide refreshments. They offer a bird watching trip charter as well. Other activity options include great hikes through native bush, kayaks, paddleboards and rowing dinghy available for your use.
