Hobsonville Event Space - Sunderland Lounge

The Sunderland Lounge – Te Rere was built in the late 1940s and was initially used as the airbase’s cinema. It is comprised of a large community hall, a community space with a large kitchen, and a new meeting room. It has a quality AV system, staging and event lighting available for hire.

The maximum capacity of the Sunderland Lounge across all hirers/rooms is 374 due to fire safety ratings.

With various spaces at The Sunderland Lounge, this venue is perfect for all types of events. Ideal for your upcoming corporate event, workshop, birthday celebration, wedding and product launch.

Sunderland Hall

AV Equipment available for hire. Hall hirers must provide access to accessible toilet for other users requiring facility. Provides direct access to kitchen but kitchen is booked separately if required.
Commercial cleaning is required for any event with more than 50 people that includes food/drinks.
