Our kitchen space has everything you need to turn your commercial food ideas into a reality.
The space includea:

5 burner blue seal stove
2 x Moffat Turbofan Convection Ovens
domestic stand mixer
domestic stick blender
dish washer
food processor
stainless steel prep and work benches
dry storage and dry prep pack area
We can assist you in sourcing wholesale materials and ingredients from our suppliers (you will need to set up an account with them first).

PRICING
Kitchen Hire:

On an ongoing basis, this kitchen can be hired at a rate of $25 per hour + gst, for a minimum of 4 hours
On a casual basis, this kitchen can be hired at a rate of $30 per hour + gst, for a minimum of 4 hours.
Off peak hire is also available, at a rate of $17 per hour + gst between 7pm and 7am, for a minimum of 4 hours.

Bond:
A bond of $250 applies to all kitchen hire arrangements.

Consulting:
If you are unsure about processes, equipment or general cooking requirements, Grant is available to assist. The first hour is free, to give both yourselves and Grant a chance to meet and discuss your requirements. After this, consulting will be charged at a rate of $40 per hour + gst, charged in half hour blocks.

Bond and kitchen hire must be paid for in advance, before access can be granted.

CLEANING
Cleanliness is of upmost importance in our kitchen, and you are contractually obliged to leave the premise in the state you found it in. Failure to clean the space to a satisfactory standard will result in a $250 + gst cleaning fee.

You need to provide your own dish cloths and tea towels, which must be taken with you.
We are able to take a small amount of waste however anything large needs to be disposed of by yourself.

We have certification under MPI for the commercial kitchen however it is a legal requirement of the Tauranga City Council that you obtain permission to produce food commercially.

All new tenants are legally required to undergo an induction to ensure you are aware of all safety requirements and emergency exits. Please allow an extra half hour for this on your first visit. You will not be charged for this induction time.
