Dockside Event Space Queens Wharf

With one of the largest outdoor dining areas over water in the Southern Hemisphere, it would be difficult to find a better venue to enjoy Wellington’s waterfront. Taking into account Wellington's unpredictable weather patterns, the deck can be covered with a large retractable roof whilst still offering the superb feeling of al fresco dining.



The restaurant also comprises a private dining room which comfortably holds 18 seated or 40 standing guests within our first floor restaurant. Whilst the waterside deck offers seating for up to 140 diners or up to 300 standing guests.



Dockside has the ability to cater for anything from intimate gatherings of 10 to sit down dinners for 150 or cocktail functions for up to 300 people, with three diverse function areas available.

We offer an extensive range of menu choices; once you have selected your preferred menu, leave the rest to us. Our friendly and efficient staff provide full service for all dining and cocktail functions.
