Truly a wonderful conference retreat surrounded by some of New Zealand’s most magnificent parklands, but still in the centre of the city.



There are a number of self contained areas in the centre which can cater for small or medium size groups. Kitchens are well appointed and you can provide your own beverage and make your catering arrangements if desired.



The Templin Hall

The Templin Hall provides a blank canvas for your event. Access doors from the foyer, the main carpark and through the loading dock allow for ease of set up and entry for your participants at this downstairs venue.

Watling Lounge

The Watling is a welcoming lounge space suitable for smaller groups and presentations on the ground floor of the Horticultural Centre.

Prices range from $75 for a half day to $400 for a wedding or function.



PC Browne Room

The P C Browne Room is a bright open upstairs space. At mid room there is a plit level with a room divider.

– Theatre style seating – 80 max

– Classroom seating – 50

– Banquet seating – 40



Prices range from $150 for a half day to $500 for a wedding or function.
