Modern Queenstown Studio Shoot Location

Up Studios is a brand new modern space in Queenstown. It is purpose built for photography and film and has the very important high ceiling of 6m to accommodate for all types of lighting set ups. It is south facing and can be used with soft daylight through most of the day or combination with the help of 13 individually operated motorised blinds.

UP studios is spanning 250m2 and includes shooting spaces, lounge, two separate rooms for make up or offices a kitchenette and a mezzanine

A shooting floor area of 100m2 downstairs with a max shooting distance of 11m.
On the mezzanine there is a smaller shooting area set up as a lounge with a large sofa, contemporary look, a beautiful selection of photography books and a TV for screenings and large desk space.

It can also be used as a viewing deck and elevated shooting space for the main studio.

The whole studio is painted white with a white concrete floor.
It is set on a corner with floor to ceiling windows on both sides

There is also a separate room for make up/dressing room and one that can be used as on office.

In The studio we also have a variety of equipment for hire
We have a large selection of Profoto flashed and modifiers. The studio also has a variety of stands, tripods and a large rolling Cambo stand. Seamless backdrops in a variety of colours
We also have a projector available for presentations.

The Studio is located next to the airport and we have 3 allocated cars parks and plenty of all day parking, café’s and accommodation within walking distance
