Fig'n' Plum Bush Cabin

This build is unique. A mezzanine loft bedroom looks down on the cosy lounge and desk space. The equipped kitchen is cute and fully functional and the composting toilet means no noisy flushing! Essential oils for your use. :-) Shower and bench top basin complete the ablution room.

This cabin interior has natural plywood walls and a timber panelled roof. The loft bed (a Queen) is enclosed with bespoke timber framing and on the stairs up to it, you are protected by stair to ceiling driftwood poles. The kitchen has easily removable stainless steel commercial benches and sink. A crate shelf and bench separates this space from the lounge area, which can seat four people easily. A bathroom with big mirror, basin, hot shower and composting toilet (a bucket with substrate underneath a proper toilet seat). I empty as required.

There is a seated desk space, full wifi and somewhere to hang your coats and put your bags. More space found under the stairs, which also houses the crockery. Folding doors open out onto a private deck, tiny fig tree on one side, bigger plum tree on the other. The Fig'n'Plum. A large brazier, a huge Pine tree and a view across to Laingholm ridge.

Privately situated away from the main home, this cabin has its own parking (up to 3 cars by arrangement (possibly more short term), its own easy pathway access and is screened by nikau, cabbage trees, manuka, kanuka, kowhai....and because of all those trees - birds aplenty! Kereru, Tui, Blackbirds, Rosellas, Piwakwaka, Kingfisher... there I go again!

We are 10 minutes from Titirangi 8 minutes from Huia, 30-40 minutes from downtown Auckland, 25 minutes from Henderson. Easy. Beautiful.
