Downtown community meeting room and hot desks

The Aaiotanga Peace Place is a friendly community facility perfect for meetings, workshops, classes and tutoring. Carpeted and comfortable with books covering one wall gives a warm and relaxed setting. 

Our small meeting room suitable for 2 - 3 is often used for language tutoring and only costs $10 per hour. 

Our larger meeting space can easily host a meeting or workshop for up to 50 people and costs $23 per hour.

The beautiful Emily Place Reserve also known as Te Rerenga ora iti is just across the road and is lovely spot to sit in the sun on a park bench or go for a walk on the grass and amongst huge characterful pohutakawa trees.

Inside the Peace Place we have soft couches as well as padded meeting chairs.

Other facilities include:
- 7 moveable tables that can operate as desks or be put together for group activity work. 
- digital project and screen
- PA speaker with wireless microphone
- Cups and glasses for up to 40 people
- plates and bowls and cutlery for up to 20 people
- small kitchen
- two unisex use toilets
