The Issac Theatre is regarded as one of the most spectacular performing arts venue in Australasia. This is an event space that offers modern features in a historical and breath-taking environment and has many different spaces that can be used for a variety of events.



Our Auditorium

- can seat up to 1292 guests over three floors,

- Stalls up to 693,

- Dress circle 295 

- Grand Circle seating up to 302 guest.



The theatre is equipped with comprehensive backstage facilities with the option to remove the stairs either side to create a seamless and versatile space looking into the main auditorium.



This would be perfect for;

- galas dinners,

- cocktail functions

- and other special events.



The Gloucester Room is able to accommodate 102 - 120 people.

This room has large arched windows that provide natural light that make it the perfect space for a variety of events, concerts and private functions.



The Ravenscar Dress Circle Foyer.

We have the elegant semi circular bar called the Ravenscar Dress Circle Foyer. This can be accessed via a marble staircase or the new glass elevator.

This space is ideal for reception drinks and the two spaces can be opened up to caterer around 300 guests.



The Luxurious Grand Circle foyer has its own private entrance via the industrially designed western wing of the building.



With its own plush semi-circular bar, complemented by sumptuous gold and black décor and atmospheric lighting, this function space is perfect for cocktail events of 80 to 90 guests or up to 40 for an intimate dining experience.





We also offer The Royal Treatment for smaller groups up to 10 people where guests can enjoy the royal treatment. These guests will be lead into the theatre either to the Sir Ian McKellen Box or the Sir Warren Box before an event and will be offered premium food and beverages.



We have an events team onsite that can assist with the set-up and will be available for up to 4 hours prior the event.

We are a fully licensed theatrical venue and reserves the right to provide and vend all beverages where alcohol is served at a functions and we can also offer a BYO option for all functions on stage with a service fee of $10 per guest.

We also have six preferred catering companies that can also assist you with a function.
