Generator is home to the best boutique work and event spaces in the heart of Auckland. Located within the Britomart precinct, our two sites offer a range of meeting, conference & event spaces - from funky and playful to upscale and polished.

Intimate or spacious - we have it all.

From 4 - 6 person meeting rooms, boardrooms for 14 - 18 people, to bar & lounge areas that can can cater for 100 guests. Generator is a collection of flexible, premium spaces that can accomodate a wide range of workshops, meetings & conferences. These include a cafe & bar at each site, serving delicious barista coffee throughout the day and available for drinks into the evening.

It's not just about the numbers - it's how the space feels.

Based in beautifully refurbished heritage buildings, each Generator space has a unique character. Get creative in our funky, popular original space on Customs St, or take a more refined approach at our upscale Generator Northern Steamship site on Quay St. We'll work with you to pick the most suitable spot for your meeting or workshop.

The Library
Available as an extension to the Lounge or on its own, when the folding sound-proof wall is closed the Library comes into its own. Featuring luxurious velvet seats and vintage tables with a sea view, the Library has a full AV system and can be set up as a boardroom, banquet, cocktail or dining area.

The Square
The Square is our dedicated event hire room, a large, stunning space with natural light perfect for corporate workshops, presentations and seminars. Possible arrangements for your event include theatre seating, U-shape, standing, cocktail, banquet or boardroom.
