Orewa Conference and Meeting Space

We have a number of spaces available for hire for meetings and conferences.

Lecture Theatre
Adjacent to the Orewa Arts and Events Centre, and located on Riverside Road.
Provides tiered seating for 70 with flat floor area at front where an additional 20 seats can be placed. An operable wall can divide the tiered seating area and the the flat floor space
Has plug and go projector and sound facilities and efficient heat pump / air conditioning units

For large conferences the Full Orewa Arts and Events Centre provides a stunning venue to seat up to 600 or 300 at tables. For smaller meetings and conferences the Centre can be divided with the use of operable walls into three seperate spaces.

Foyer
When the operable wall is closed between the Foyer and the Main Auditorium, this airy naturally-lit room can be a “meet and greet” area or a stand alone room.

It has an area of 113 sq metres ( 21m long x 5.4m wide) and will fit up to 200 people standing and mingling, or 100 people seated at tables. Includes access to the Kitchen and has efficient heat pump / air conditioning units

Small Auditorium
When the operable wall is opened, this space increases the size of the Main Auditorium to create a 500 seat Full Auditorium. The back 129 seats are tiered.
When the operable wall is closed and the back-tired seating pushed away, then this space works well as a break out meeting room or an area to serve food, being adjacent to the kitchen. Includes efficient heat pump / air conditioning units

It has a flat floor square area of 98 sqm (6.7m long x 14.7m wide).

Main Auditorium
The Main Auditorium includes the Stage and 2/3rds of the Full Auditorium. Both operable walls are closed when hiring this area.
The Main Auditorium has a permanent raised stage of 58sq metres(13.9 metres wide x 4.17 metres deep) and a flat floor space of 240sq metres (16.3 metres long x 14.7 metres wide). Has seating for 350.

The Main Auditorium includes full audio visual facilities including 3 projectors & screens, sound system with two wireless microphone and standard lighting. Stage and special effect lighting is available when hiring our Authorised Technician. Includes efficient heat pump / air conditioning units.

Can seat 200 at tables for a sit down dinner. Includes access to the Kitchen and 20 trestle tables (2.4m x 0.8m). Black embossed table cloths to fit the trestle tables can be hired.
