Friendly Societies Lodge Hall
A relatively new building, designed and constructed in an authentic 1920s heritage style and decor. The wood panels and decor of the Lodge make it a great option for meeting, conferences, events and receptions and includes the use of the grassy area behind the Lodge, next to the lake.
The front of the building opens into a small reception area where you can greet your guests or serve drinks and canapes as everyone arrives. Another set of double doors opens into the main wood paneled function hall. This light, airy room with wooden floors can be decorated to your tastes and the member societies displays can be left visible or hung with draping as part of your decorations.
The Lodge Hall can cater for a wide range of functions with up to 95 guests for a seated meal or up to 125 standing. Included in the hire of the Lodge is the small kitchen facility equipped with a domestic oven, fridges, microwave and servery with cups and saucers. We also have 95 chocolate brown padded chairs and 10 tables available for you to use. There are toilets within the Lodge building.
This is the perfect option for all weathers as the French doors on one end open onto the lake or there are inbuilt heaters if the weather is not as warm.
Lodge hire for the day is $675.00 for a full day and you can use your own catering and set up to personalise the space. Access is usually available after 4.30pm the day before however, this is dependent on other bookings.
For meetings and conferences, we have audiovisual equipment hire available for an additional fee.
