The Caker - Functions

STYLISH AND INTIMATE, THE CAKER SPACE IS PERFECT FOR CELEBRATIONS FROM BIRTHDAY PARTIES, BABY OR BRIDAL SHOWERS TO RANGE SHOWINGS, PRODUCT LAUNCHES AND OTHER CORPORATE EVENTS.

THE EVENT SPACE IS UPSTAIRS ABOVE THE CAKER KITCHEN, WHERE THE AROMA OF CAKES TURNING GOLDEN IN OUR OVENS IS EVER PRESENT. THE ROOM HAS EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH CEILINGS, DARK WOOD FLOORS AND BIG WINDOWS OVERLOOKING THE ICONIC K’RD.

FEATURES OF THE ROOM INCLUDE A FIREPLACE FROM THE 1920S, GLOSSY PINK CABINETS AND RARE FURNITURE BY STEPHANE RONDEL.

VENUE HIRES AT THE CAKER FEATURE A 'CAKE BANQUET,' WHICH IS A FEAST FOR THE EYES AND TASTE BUDS.

STYLE
The format of most private hire events at The Caker is one where we leave you to make yourselves at home with:

- A banquet of cakes, with enough for all of your guests to enjoy and usually some to take home! (choose three or four flavours depending on the size of the event)
- Antipodes water (sparkling and still)
- Fresh flowers around the room (there is an optional added fee if you want to keep these flowers)
- Glassware for champagne (we do not provide any alcohol but have a fridge to keep bottles cool)
- Wifi and a bluetooth speaker for you to connect to and play music of your choosing

Our space suits events of between 10 to 30 guests (we provide up to 15 chairs around the room). You are welcome to bring your own pre-plated savoury finger food if you like.

TIMING
Events usually last 2 hours and we can accomodate them any day of the week between 11am-5pm. Different time frames can be negotiated.

PRICING
For a 2 hour event with everything listed above included, prices are as follows:

10-15 people - $900
16-20 people - $1000
21-25 people - $1100
26-30 people - $1200
