The Conservatory - it's about living!



From hosting the New Zealand Rugby Union’s official pre Rugby World Cup event on the day the World Cup kicked off in 2011, to hosting Sir Richard Branson, to FIFA’s official closing party for the U20 World Cup, you could say we’ve got it covered. In fact, few do it better.

With four different areas available for events and functions – that can either be used as one area, combined or used separately, it’s very rare that we won’t be able to accommodate you. Make sure you pre-order our amazing platters & pizzas so no one in your group misses out!



Below is a brief description of the various individual areas:



The Courtyard

The most requested of all our areas positioned at the front of the Conservatory,

this area is under cover with retractable walls and fitted electric heaters.. Your

call whether to have the walls up or down, it is the ideal spot for winter or

summer. Capacity is dependent on the furniture arrangements.



The side

Situated outside along the side of the bar, yet under cover, the area is sea facing

with fitted electric heaters. The ideal setting for any get together, with the

comfortable couches arranged accordingly, from 4 to 80.



The Front

Positioned directly at the front of the premises, literally on the wharf, these leaners are perfect for big summer get togethers. The view is unsurpassable, as is the people watching. Outside on leaners with no cover this area is ideal for those that want to chill in the sun. An incredibly popular area with seating for 32 but can be used for up to 100 standing.



The Inside

The warmest and cosiest area with an open fire burning in winter. Normally consisting of leather chesterfield couches, and a few dining tables, however we have regularly moved all furniture out should you want to hire the whole bar area.
